Robotics- This week the class tried their hand at creating wobble bots with the use of cds, batteries, motors and a few other components. Everyone had a wobbling and spinning robot by the end of class.

Phonics- This week the class worked on their end of April and beginning of May writing portfolio pages. 

Numeracy- Class this week consisted of a mixture of worksheets and games! This week's game was an addition based movement/ physical activity based game. Addition problems were solved one at a time by different classmates and then everyone did "x" number of jumping jacks, seconds of running in place, push ups, etc. based on the answer! It was a class hit!

Cooking- This week the class baked flourless peanut butter banana chocolate muffins! These were an easy but fun recipe where all ingredients other than the chocolate chips were mixed in a blender or food processor, chocolate chips were folded in the mixture and last step was to pour in cup cake tins. The final product was gooey and very tasty! 

Gardening/Botany- Enjoying the weather during class this week, we went back to the basics of plants and discussed what plants are and what is needed for them to grow!
